In the hadith, companions of the Prophet were asked who will be bankrupt, and they responded it will be the man with no dinner and the man with no money. However, the Prophet said the most bankrupt person will be someone who had a mountain of good deeds but was unjust in their dealings with others, which includes being racist. On the Day of Judgment, the people this person wronged, including through racism, will come to demand compensation for the wrongs done to them, until all the good deeds are used up compensating them.
